Forged, with decades of experience

At MoonSword Guild, each blade begins with time-honored techniques passed down through generations. Designed in Japan and hand-forged in a historic Chinese province with over 2,000 years of swordmaking tradition, our process blends precision, tradition, and artistry.

Every sword is hand-forged from high-quality steel, shaped with care and intention, then oil-quenched for durability. Select blades undergo a meticulous clay tempering process—coating the spine in clay before heating and quenching—to produce a hardened edge with a resilient spine, resulting in the signature hamon (temper line) and a perfect balance of strength and flexibility. This is how we deliver the quality and feel worthy of legends.
